Richard Lamb of ICANN and Phil Regnauld of NSRC are teaming up again this week for a 5 day workshop on DNS security and DNSSEC. The event, organized by NIC CR ( http://nic.cr/ ) in collaboration with ICANN and NSRC and hosted by the Fundación Omar Dengo , kicked off yesterday with a half day of DNS/DNSSEC awareness. Over 40 attendees from both the public and private sectors attented, including financial institutions, universities, ISPs, and government. 35 of the participants are now following the hands-on course on DNS operations and security and DNSSEC deployment.
